Representatives Allyson Schwartz (D-PA) and Joe Heck, DO (R-NV) introduced a bill that would permanently repeal the flawed SGR formula, the basis for Medicare reimbursement. This bipartisan Medicare Physician Payment Innovation Act would avert the 32% SGR payment cut for 2013.
